brothers {Michigan Child Photography}

One of the things I love about my job is meeting all the little people. These 2 guys were no exception. They both greeted me so sweetly with big smiles. I commented to big brother that he seemed ready to have his picture taken and he responded with “I was born ready” and I knew it was going to be a great session! It was hot and sweaty but the boys were troopers and I enjoyed our time together. Check out these little faces and big beautiful eyes, melt my heart!

Happy Father’s Day!
Posted on June 21, 2009
One of my favorite things to do is to watch my husband and our kids interact. I love listening to them giggle because he plays with them like he is still their age, and that he isn’t ashamed to get down on his knees and pretend to be the prince to my daughter’s princess. My heart melts when they snuggle with him, which usually turns into a wrestling match. I beam with pride when they pretend they are just like him. When I complain that our son is growing too fast he reminds me “momma, I got to grow up to be big and strong, just like daddy.” The girls believe he is capable of fixing anything (which he is). He is an amazing father and the kids refer to him as “the best daddy ever!” (unless they are in trouble for something…LOL) Happy Father’s Day to my husband, my own dad and my father-in-law and all the other best daddies ever out there! I hope you all enjoy your special day.

farmin’ {Michigan photographer}
Posted on May 30, 2009
Recently I went on a field trip to the farm. If you haven’t been, you should visit Upland Hills Farm, it rocks! I have to confess, I love the farm, it is by far my favorite field trip. When I was a kid, my grandma had a farm and I spent much time during the summer there. I remember my cousin and grandpa baling hay and grandma and I would deliver lunch and cold drinks. I even had every little girls dream, a pony. But I have to say, the pony was mean! So mean it only had one eye because it bit another horse and got kicked, hard lesson to learn I guess
3 years ago I went to the farm on a field trip and my son was just 4 days old and I witnesses a horse giving birth. Brought tears to my eyes, it really was amazing. Here are a few of my shots from the day.

Check out the eyelashes on this calf! AMAZING!

And this little piggy was too funny, she was such a showoff, running around for all the kids! When we left I saw her sleeping in a dark corner, all tuckered out.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Don’t worry N, the big dipper isn’t on the original image.

The return of Miss Personality {Macomb County Child Photographer}
Posted on May 25, 2009
Miss A just turned 2 and I’ve been lucky to have been photographing her since she was in her mama’s belly. She has tons of personality and energy, I think she has more energy than my 3 kiddos put together! She is such a joy to be around and is going to be a big sister soon.
I totally love watching the relationship she has with her daddy. Everything I asked her to do she said “daddy do it” and guess what? He would!! Melts my heart. Hope you had a great birthday party A!! xoxo
