whoopie cushion that is!  This little man came along for his baby brother’s session and we only hoped to get one image with the two of them.  He wasn’t really feeling it so mom got out a whoopie cushion and this is the hilarity that ensued!  Yes, he’s actually sitting on the whoopie cushion in this one :)  I love it so much I just ordered it for my studio.  I love this pano crop and for the studio I ordered it 15×30 and can’t wait to get it up on my wall.

and a sweetie too!  When they walked into the studio mom said she is a bit shy around people.  Sure enough, I said hello and she busted into tears.  But within minutes she stopped and decided I wasn’t bad after all. :)  Her big sister is gorgeous. I caught her in one single serene moment.  Both the girls have big, beautiful, to die for eyes.

the one who…{Michigan child photographer}

Posted on February 23, 2010

loves the snow.  My daughters are so different from each other both in looks and personality.  This is the younger of the two and she loves all things winter. Last year she went sledding on the coldest day of winter and did not want to stop.  Everyone else was huddled in the car but not Ms. Winter.  On the other hand, sweaty summers are not her thing, well unless she can constantly be in the water then she’s good.

This is the one that loves summer.  She tolerates play dates in the snow but only if hot chocolate is promised.  I can relate to that.  A few minutes in the snow for an excuse to sip some hot chocolate is right up my alley.

I’ve got a lot of catching up to do here on the blog.  Check back as I’ll be announcing some special events over the next few weeks, including a new born casting call.  So if you or anyone you know is having a baby soon, watch for details later this week.  Hope everyone is having a great week!

I know, a long absence from blogging.  I’ve been recovering from the holidays.  January is my month of recuperation.

These two children are so adorable.  They may not have an actual modeling job, but my camera loves them!  Miss A really enjoys our time together and works it and her brother…well he puts up with me, he is a boy after all ;)  These images are from my holiday mini sessions so they were only in my studio for 30 minutes and I could have probably shown 50 images ~ the kids are that amazing!  You may recognize this beauty from the splash page on my website.  Speaking of my website, I just launched it, newly designed with lots of new images.  Check it out!

I’m helping their mom design a wall for above their fire place.  One of the options she’s considering is a canvas cluster and it looks so great I wanted to share. Sometimes the absence of frames is a beautiful thing.  This configuration has a 16×20 or the middle image, 2 11×14’s and 2 10×10’s.

On Saturday my studio was full of little elves and it was wonderful.  I spent the day photographing some of my favorite clients and these two are no exception.  Its Little Miss Personality and her adorable baby sister!!  As always it was fun to spend time with you. :) xoxo

HOLIDAY MINI SESSIONS :)

Posted on November 10, 2009

I’ve had lots of requests for holiday mini sessions this year so I finally decided to do them :)  There will not be any traditional Christmas backdrops or props.  One look will be bright white, great for fun, bright colored clothing and snow hats!  The other will be classic black.  Please contact me at info@kristamuskovinphotography.com for availability!  As of this posting, I only have 4 spots remaining, all in the afternoon.   And I just have to say WOW, where has 2009 gone?!?

HOOT! {Fenton, MI child photographer}

Posted on November 9, 2009

This child, oh Lord, does she ever have PERSONALITY!  I could not stop smiling and laughing around her.  I have so so many images of her giving me jazz hands or gun fingers and getting her to hold still *snort*!  I wanted to take her home and I think her mom was on the verge of giving her to me but apparently she’s a daddy’s girl and he would miss her, lol.  She is gorgeous!  And her eyes, blue blue blue.  But wait until her see her baby sister, I think they may be bluer if that is even possible.

So I know she appears to be shy in the next shot but she’s not.  She was just being goofy and hiding in the mass of legs that is her family.  Oh my camera loved her!  Ok, my heart loves her too.

doll face {Ann Arbor child photographer}

Posted on November 7, 2009

I really think she looks like a little doll, especially in her yukata.  Her parents lived in Japan for a few years.  Daddy still travels there and brought her back this beautiful piece of Japanese culture.  Little Miss N is so charming with a fabulous imagination and I enjoyed getting to spend the entire day with her (and her parents).  Looking forward to our next play date Miss N! xoxo

leaf fight! {West Bloomfield child photographer}

Bring it little man!  So the last few times I’ve hung out with C he’s wanted nothing to do with me and I mean nothing!  Lucky for me he was ready to play this time.  It’s not easy being 2. :) He is such a cutie, check out that blonde hair, rockin tan (he had just gotten back from a sunny vacation the day before our shoot) and killer smile.  And his sister is adorable too. I’m in love with the image of her because I think it captures her innocence with a hint at the princess inside.  As always it was fun to see you guys.  Have fun trick-or-treating!
