farmin’ {Michigan photographer}

Posted on May 30, 2009

Recently I went on a field trip to the farm.  If you haven’t been, you should visit Upland Hills Farm, it rocks! I have to confess, I love the farm, it is by far my favorite field trip.  When I was a kid, my grandma had a farm and I spent much time during the summer there.  I remember my cousin and grandpa baling hay and grandma and I would deliver lunch and cold drinks.  I even had every little girls dream, a pony.  But I have to say, the pony was mean!  So mean it only had one eye because it bit another horse and got kicked, hard lesson to learn I guess ;)  3 years ago I went to the farm on a field trip and my son was just 4 days old and I witnesses a horse giving birth.  Brought tears to my eyes, it really was amazing.  Here are a few of my shots from the day.

And this little piggy was too funny, she was such a showoff, running around for all the kids!  When we left I saw her sleeping in a dark corner, all tuckered out.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Yep, it’s little Miss Personality  with her future sibling.  Check out her kissy face <3.  And I couldn’t help  myself with the second image.  Just a bit of baby belly humor ;)  Don’t worry N, the big dipper isn’t on the original image.mipregnancyphotographer2mipregnancyphotographer1

The return of Miss Personality {Macomb County Child Photographer}

Posted on May 25, 2009

Miss A just turned 2 and I’ve been lucky to have been photographing her since she was in her mama’s belly.  She has tons of personality and energy, I think she has more energy than my 3 kiddos put together!  She is such a joy to be around and is going to be a big sister soon.

I totally love watching the relationship she has with her daddy.  Everything I asked her to do she said “daddy do it” and guess what?  He would!!  Melts my heart.  Hope you had a great birthday party A!!  xoxo

Posted on May 21, 2009

I love working with seniors, they actually hold still…LOL!!  Well besides holding still they bring with them such unique personalities that make for fun and amazing photo shoots, I love incorporating their ideas/locations so their senior pictures are uniquely them.

Now is the time that to book your session if you are a junior (Class of 2010).

So stinkin’ cute! | Michigan child photographer

Posted on May 16, 2009

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting up with a friend and fellow photographer and her daughter.  I can’t say enough what a sweet little soul this child is, not to mention she’s a complete doll too!  I have to say she stole my heart :)

Welcome to my new blog!!! {Michigan Child Photographer}

Posted on May 14, 2009

I know, I know, you’ve seen a lot of changes around here over the last few months.  I’m fickle that way ;)  But this blog I love, and I can’t promise things won’t change a little here and there, but for the most part, it’s here to stay.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

My son recently celebrated his 3rd birthday and here are some of the moments I captured during his “session.”  By the way, his thought on the session “I did good mommy – but I didn’t like it.”  I told him great buddy, now mom needs to look for a new line of work, LOL!!
