Checking out until Monday! I’ve joined the masses of Pink Warriors and I will be walking in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. That’s right, I agreed to raise $2300 and my reward for raising $2300…I get to walk 60 miles in 3 days and I couldn’t be more excited. During the past eight or so months I’ve raised more than money, I also raised awareness. If you know me I’m a talker and tend to share too much information so sharing the nitty gritty about breast cancer, with men and women alike, was no problem for me. I hope I’ve encouraged much self examination in both men and women (yes, men get breast cancer too, someone I love had a scare). I hope I’ve encouraged mammograms to be scheduled (go, get it done!!).
Come cheer on us walkers!!! We need as much encouragement as possible!! Visit the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure website and under Spectator Information you will find designated cheering sections.
Go Pink Angels!

I loved watching the bond these two sisters have. I photographed them last year and I enjoyed watching their relationship then. They are sweet and loving with a touch of mischievousness. I see them growing up to be the best of friends. M and A, I enjoyed my evening with you by the water. Thank you for sharing cartwheels and freighters with me! I hope you enjoyed your vacation.

She’s so perfectly adorable she looks like a doll. She’s got the cheeks, the perfect skin, the thick shiny blonde hair and sparkly blue eyes. It was so fun to photograph this doll for the second time. This year she had so much to say and was pretty amused by my bikini wearing rubber chicken. Thanks for spending some time with me pretty girl!

My heart sighs…I love newborns. I know I’ve said it before, probably every time I post a newborn peek, but I can’t help myself. Let’s start with his hair, he’s got quite a bit for a little guy. Then there is his squishy little cheeks. Not to mention his adorable little nose. He was such a great sleeper and I could have stayed with him all day. <3

Oh my! These girls are so beautiful and so fun and so different from one another. I’m always fascinated by the differences in my own kids so I don’t know why I’m surprised when I see other siblings so different. Big sister is sweet and fun and doesn’t she have the cutest hair?! And I just love her Matilda Jane dress! If you have a little girl, you have to check out Matilda Jane! Then there are her twin baby sisters. When I first met the twins, Miss I really only wanted mommy and Miss O was super easy going and came right to me. But when I got out the camera Miss I came alive with big smiles, showing off her amazing dimples (as long as I didn’t get too close) and Miss O…well she still didn’t mind if I came close but she stayed pretty serious.
Gorgeous gorgeous girls!!

I’ve been photographing Miss P since she was in her mama’s tummy and she has not once disappointed me by being boring. :) She definitely has a free spirit and while this may be challenging to her mom and dad I enjoy every minute of her antics. I have much more to share, family images from this session and Miss P’s baby sister’s cake smash session.
I love everything about this image, her smile, the twinkle in her eyes and most of all her hair flying wildly around her.

Could they be any more beautiful? They seriously take my breath away. I keep leaning on their mom to have another because I selfishly would love to add a girl to the mix. ;) And they are both so incredibly sweet too. They both love water but the little guy is a bit of an Evil Knievel. Most of us have trouble getting our kids hair washed at this age without screaming and this guy just kept putting his face right in the water. By the end of this session we all had sand between our toes and most everyone, including mom, was soaked to the bone but it was worth it. The boys (and lets face it, me) had a blast.
**tip of the week, if your cell phone gets wet because you ran into the water to scoop up your too daring son, put it in a jar of rice overnight and it will most likely be fine

This was my very first newborn twin session and it was wonderful. These little guys were so sweet and already could see personality. One twin liked to cuddle, the other not as much. One slept great, the other one fought with every ounce of his little being to stay awake so he could keep an eye one what was happening. After spending time with a newborn I always get baby fever and no surprise, I now have it bad!
Congratulations S and D on these two little additions to your already beautiful family.

I have yet to run into an age that I didn’t love and three is no exception. In fact three is one of my favorite ages. This little guy is three and he reminded me why I love this age. He is so adorable and sweet and I could have spent the entire day playing and photographing him.

stays together

Ok seriously, they are so adorable! They have such fun personalities.

The whole family is wonderful. These children are some of the sweetest and most well behaved children I have ever met. I think mom and dad need to have a summer camp where we can all send our children to come back as sweet as theirs, are you guys game? lol

How lucky is she to have 3 older brothers to look after her?! Well she might not think so when she starts dating…

Meet handsome…

and handsome.

L and E, you really have a wonderful family and it was truly my pleasure photographing you all. xoxo
